Why Tambourines?

Tambourines are a musical instrument that goes back to Biblical times.
In the story of Passover and the Exodus from Egypt of the Israelites, they tell the story of Miriam.
Miriam was Moses sister.
She is described as leading the other women to dance for joy.
Since they also talk about the joy in finding water in the desert, Miriam is also symbolized by water in a cup.
The theme for all women seders or to honor Miriam uses the tambourine.
Others will use a second special Kiddish cup at the Seder.
One for Elijah and the Other (usually filled with water) for Miriam.

Kiddish cups (wine goblet) jewelry and gifts are also available
